FAQ – Summer School

Do children need to be a pupil at JC Dance to attend?  – No, any child aged between 4 and 11 is welcome. All children’s parents will be sent a registration form to complete in the week or so before Summer School.

Who will be teaching at Summer School? – Joanna and Sarah will be leading all the activities. They are both qualified, experienced and DBS checked dance teachers, Joanna is also the nominated First Aider. You can read more about them HERE.

What will children learn? – Children will be split into 2 working groups, based on ages. They will have dance, drama and singing sessions in their age groups and also come together as a big groups for craft activities, games and performances.

How many children can attend? – We have a maximum capacity of 30.

What do children need to wear and bring? – We suggest leggings or shorts with, t shirt, jacket and trainers, with hair tied back. Layers are good as activities vary throughout the day! Children also need to bring a packed lunch and morning snack and plenty of water.

When? Where? How Much? – Summer School takes place in the newly renovated Vicarage Park Community Centre, Vicarge Road, FY6 7BE (there is parking at the hall) on Monday 29th July and Tuesday 30th July 9.30am – 3.30pm each day. The cost is £32 for the two days.
