FAQ – Children’s Classes

What age do you start from? 

We accept pupils from 18mths into our Baby Steps “Mummy and Me” class,  from 2.5yrs children can progress into our Nursery Dance classes and from the January before children start school  RAD Ballet, ISTD Tap or  ISTD Modern classes are available. Acro is also available for children over the age of 4 and for our older pupils we also offer Limbering and Pointe Work classes. (more…)

Adult Modern! 4 Week Course

We are very excited to re launch our new Adult Modern classes which had  just begun before lockdown!

The class will consist of a thorough warm up with conditioning and flexibility exercises, dance combinations to develop technique, work on a routine and will finish with a whole body stretch, all within social distancing and covid safe guidelines.

The class will be taught by Clare who is very knowledgeable in the style and will be utilising a range of styles that fall under the “Modern” umbrella including; Commercial, Lyrical, Jazz and Musical Theatre.

We are running the class as a 4 week block initially, but aim for this to become a permanent class.

The class is open to all abilities and ages (16+).

When? Thursday 7.45 – 8.30pm. The 4 week course starts on Thursday 1st October and continues each Thursday up to and including the  22nd October

Where? The Studio, Play Football, Garstang Road West, Blackpool, FY3 7JH

How Much? £22 for the 4 weeks.

What to wear? Anything you are comfy in that allows you to move freely. Either bare feet, lightweight trainers or jazz shoes are fine.

March Student in the Spotlight…Isobelle!

A much belated Well Done to Isobelle who was awarded Student in the Spotlight for March! Lockdown prevented Siobhan from handing Isobelle her gift bag at the time but as Isobelle attended our ease back sessions she has finally received her certificate and personalised t shirt! (more…)
